PTI founding member Dr Shahid Siddique shot dead in Lahore
He was targeted after Friday prayer in Valencia Town
Dr Shahid Siddique, one of the founding members of PTI and a hospital owner was shot dead in Lahore.
As reported, Siddique was targeted on Friday as he came out of Khizra Mosque at H-block of Valencia Town after offering Friday prayer.
According to the police, Dr Shahid Siddique was heading to his car when an unknown man approached him and shot at and injured him.
The victim suffered four bullet injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital but could not survive.
As reported, Dr Siddique’s son was also present there and remained unharmed.
According to the police spokesperson, the police and forensic teams reached the spot following the incident to collect the evidence from the crime scene and the investigation is underway.
