‘PTI is scattering like autumn leaves,’ says Khawaja Asif

‘PTI is scattering like autumn leaves,’ said Khawaja Asif.

The statement from the Defence Minister Khawaja Asif comes in the wake of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders deserting the party over the May 9 incidents.

Commenting on the political situation in a tweet, PML-L senior leader said, “PTI is scattering like autumn leaves. The people who were responsible for creating the party were ignorant that the backbone of every political party is its loyal ideological workers the leadership of the other ranks.”

“Those who created the PTI gave it the body, but couldn’t give it the backbone or the intellect and this result is in front of us,” he added.

The government is considering banning former prime minister Imran Khan’s political party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said a day earlier.

“Deliberation is being made to ban Imran Khan’s Party PTI due to the 9th May attacks on military installations. A decision has not been taken yet, but a review is surely underway,” Khawaja Asif told media persons in Islamabad.
