PTI leader Asad Umar holds emergency press conference after releasing from Adiala Jail

PTI leader Asad Umar held an emergency press conference after releasing from Adiala Jail on Wednesday evening and announced to leave party positions.

Senior PTI leader has announced that he is leaving his party positions, Secretary General and Core Committee,  with immediate effect.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Asad Umar was released from the Adiala Jail after 15 days on the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) order.

Former finance minister condemned 9th May riots followed by PTI chairman Imran Khan’s arrest.

“I will talk about 4 different things today,” he said.

“Firstly, after May 9, I was arrested on May 10. I am here after 15 days of confinement in isolation.

“Almost everyone condemned the events of May 9 but I want to talk in detail about why they were dangerous for the country. Lives were lost, people were injured and state and private installations were damaged. but perhaps the most dangerous thing was that installations associated with the army were attacked.”
