PTI leader Jahangir Tareen returns to Pakistan after seven months

PTI leader Jahangir Tareen has returned to Pakistan on Friday after staying in London for seven months.

Tareen, along with his son Ali Tareen, arrived at Lahore on the UAE-based Emirates Airlines from London via Dubai.

Upon his arrival in a tweet, he said that “let me state for the record that JDW is NOT part of the petition against GOPb notification to start sugar Mills on 10th Nov. All of my mills, including those in Sind will start crushing on 10th. Will play my part in helping the Govt overcome the sugar shortage and price hike”.

While speaking to the reporters at the Lahore Airport,  Jahangir said that he went abroad for medical treatment, adding that he has been going abroad every year in the last seven years for medical checkup.

While talking about the allegations levelled by the opposition against his business and his departure to UK, the PTI leader said that the opposition’s only purpose is to points fingers at others and  added that he does not feel that there is a need to reply to them.

PTI leader who is also a close confidant of Prime Minister Imran Khan, said ,“Thanks to the Almighty all my business is clean,” he asserted.
