PTI Long March Day 2 concludes after 5 and a half hours of rally

The long march ended on day two at Kamoke in Gujranwala district

PTI Long March Day 2 concludes after 5 and a half hours of the rally on Saturday.

The long march ended on day two at Kamoke in Gujranwala district, after starting from Shahdra in the afternoon around 2 PM local time.

Taking it to social media, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry announced the day’s close and tomorrow’s call time.

“Today’s march is just ending and will resume tomorrow at 11 am from Muridke,” Fawad Chaudhry notified.

On the second day, PTI Long March started from Shahdra, Lahore led by their Chairman Imran Khan.

On day two of the long march termed as Haqiqi Azadi March, PTI chair Imran Khan while addressing his supporters said that he is there to tell them what freedom is.

“Free men rule the world,” he told his supporters at Lahore’s Shahdara.

The PTI leader reiterated the alleged torture inflicted upon party leaders Shahbaz Gill and Azam Swati.

“First they tortured Shahbaz Gill and then the 75-year-old senator,” he said.

“I want to convey a message that we are humans and not sheep,” said Khan.

Imran Khan gave another hard-hitting speech aimed at the DG ISI and dubbed the supposed military officials that Azam Swati accused of torturing him as “savages”.

“The names Azam Swati took […] these two savages — since the day they arrived in Islamabad, [they] oppressed the people and media, threatened them, picked up social media people.

“First they caught Shahbaz Gill, stripped him, and tortured him, and then Jameel Farooqui.”

He yet again criticized DG ISI and questioned his press conference.

“You don’t target only Imran Khan in an apolitical press conference,” he said.

Imran Khan also named “General Faisal” and “Sector Commander Faheem”, accusing them of torturing Azam Swati in custody, and urged COAS Bajwa to “remove them” and initiate an inquiry against them.

Calling out the officials “committing cruelty in Islamabad”, he said while yet again addressing Gen Bajwa that they were bringing “disrepute to the army, Pakistan, and you”.

“You should investigate them and transfer them,” he added.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan also took an oath from his supporters to always abide by the Constitution as the party’s long march reached Ferozewala.

“No one hands freedom on a plate. You have to struggle for it,” he told the crowd before he and other PTI leaders raised their hands to take an oath.
