PTI Long March Day 2: Imran Khan along with marchers starts rallying at Lahore’s Shahdara

Long March resumes from Shahdara headed towards Kamoke

PTI’s long march enters day 2 with Imran Khan along with marchers started rallying at Lahore’s Shahdara on Saturday.

Long march after starting from Lahore’s Liberty Chowk, on Oct 28, will resume from Shahdara heading towards Kamoke.

While the live TV coverage of the long march has been by the PEMRA, PTI’s official social media accounts are updating with the updates with the march’s venue and progress.

In a tweet, PTI updated that their Chairman has reached Shahdara, where a massive crowd was waiting for him.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry ahead of the start of day two of the long march, said that this move is aimed at empowering the nation and ensuring that decision-making is not done behind closed doors.

Fawad added that people who are a part of this long march want to change the system for the next generation.

While announcing the venue for the march, Fawad Chaudhry thanked PTI’s supporters, especially women for being part of the march.

Addressing a presser earlier in the day in Shahdara, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that PTI workers are not marching to Islamabad to stay in hotels, stressing that orders to prevent them from getting accommodation at lodges or hotels “won’t serve any purpose”.

Fawad Chaudhry said every citizen who wanted to see a “change” in the country is now a part of the PTI’s long march.

He said the government must ask Pemra to allow coverage of the march on all TV channels to let people analyze whether the movement had fewer people, as being claimed.

PTI’s long march is expected to enter Islamabad on November 4, after passing through Kamonki, Gujranwala, Daska, Sumbrial, Lala Musa, Khariyan, Gujjar Khan, and Rawalpindi.
