In a sad turning of the event, a PTI supporter has been electrocuted Rawalpindi on Monday during protests.
PTI supporters took to the streets in Rawalpindi staging a protest against the attack on Imran Khan.
As reported, a man identified as Zeenatullah had climbed up the electric pole on Rawalpindi’s Murree Road.
The man got injured after getting electrocuted and falling to the ground, emerges from the video clips of the incident now doing rounds on social media.
The 23-year-old resident of district Orakzai received an electric shock after clinging to the pole’s heavy-duty wires and which was followed by a terrifying fall.
According to the rescue workers, the man remained unconscious after the shock and was injured as he fell off.
He was moved to the hospital; however, the ambulance found it difficult to wade through the traffic jams.
The 23-year-old is reported to be in critical condition and is being provided medical treatment following his injury.

The PTI supporters also blocked Taxila-Margallah Road.
Following the closure of roads in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, the Capital police spokesman said that action would be taken against the people for staging protests without permission.
