Fact Check: PTI used AI generated images to enhance campaign, French Media
PTI is now even using AI-generated fake images to enhance its campaign against the state and the current PDM government.
The fact was debunked by a French news channel.
The media outlet’s journalist Vedika Bahl — who hosts a news segment Truth or Fake — provided with a closer look at the misinformation being circulated by workers and supporters of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf, (PTI) led by Imran Khan.
The image is now being circulated across Twitter as a symbol of resistance against the country’s riot police, while one tweet mentioned: “This is real FEMINISM.”

The image was generated through AI and its creator was traced to be, a Twitter user named Abdullah Saad.
The image in question was retweeted by PTI’s official Twitter account and garnered over 231,000 views on the microblogging website.
Abdullah Saad (@kursed) the generator of Protester Girl – Inspired by Real Event (Lahore, Pakistan) never claimed it was an original image.
The person has taken down his tweets following the backlash but the internet never forgets.
Furthermore, journalist Bahl went on to show two different video clips which were claimed to show PTI protesters’ resistance across TikTok, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
However, one of the videos — claimed as PTI supporters marching towards the police — was actually of 1,000 Honduran migrants moving towards the US border seeking the US president’s attention on the issues of asylum seekers.
Now it’s beyond fake photos and lies.@FRANCE24 exposes that PTI is now even using AI generated fake images to enhance their hate campaign against the state and the current PDM government, who has no clue on how to cope with this organised propaganda.
