PTI’s Swabi Power Show: Gandapur Vows to Secure Imran Khan’s Release

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan called the power show a referendum against the "mandate-stealing government."

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has made a strong commitment to secure the release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

During a rally in Swabi on Saturday, November 9, 2024, Gandapur declared that he would not return home until Imran Khan is released, expressing a readiness to “sacrifice their lives” for this cause.

He also indicated that the party would continue its efforts without yielding to foreign pressures.

“Even if our lives are lost, we will not rest until the release of PTI founder,” he said.

CM KP said: “There is no freedom without sacrifice.” The chief minister said that they had to give sacrifice for “true freedom”.

Ali Amin Gandapur stated that achieving ‘Haqeeqi Azadi’ (real freedom) and holding those accountable for injustices will require sacrifices.

On decision-making within the PTI, the Chief Minister emphasized that only Imran Khan has the authority to make key decisions for the party.

“We are united, and together we must move forward,” he added.

Regarding PTI’s planned march on Islamabad, he said, “We will not leave until the PTI founder is released.”

The CM added that they are prepared to fight, but they will not return home.

Speaking at the Sawabi public gathering, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan called the power show a referendum against the “mandate-stealing government.”

He expressed hope that the PTI founder would soon be released from prison.

The PTI chairman vowed that they would take to the streets to demand the release of the former prime minister.

Speaking on the recent explosion in Balochistan, Gohar questioned, “How can politics move forward and peace be restored while the PTI founder remains behind bars?”
