PU Clash: 14 students arrested in Lahore after FIR

Fourteen students of the University of Punjab on Saturday have been arrested in Lahore after Friday’s clash between two parties.

According to the details, an FIR has been registered against 13 named and 40 unidentified students at the Muslim Town police station on behalf of the State.

The FIR contains sections of disturbing the peace and spreading fear.

According to the FIR filed by the police, the Pashtoon and Punjabi student councils had a clash at the university’s premises where 10 security officers were injured in the mishap.

It was reported that the security guards intervened in the clash with sticks and batons after which the students attacked them and they were injured in the counter-attack.
