Punjab decides to reopen educational institutions on September 15, tentatively
The Government of Punjab has decided to reopen all educational institutions across the province from September 15.
The announcement was made by the provincial education minister on Wednesday.
Punjab Education Minister and PTI MPA Dr. Murad Raas in a tweet said, “All Public & Private Schools of Punjab to open September 15th, 2020. This is a tentative date depending on COVID 19 situation in Punjab”.
“SOPs for opening Schools are in place which will be conveyed to everyone. All other news is FAKE NEWS’, he further added.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Punjab has reported 235 new coronavirus cases.
According to the government’s Covid-19 portal provincial tally of cases has risen to 93,571.
Furthermore, Punjab also reported four more deaths from the virus, taking the death toll to 2,157.
More than 85,000 people have recovered from the virus in the province.
