Punjab government decides to bring new “theater policy”
The Government of Punjab has decided to bring new policy for theaters. As per the new policy of the provincial government, immoral songs, dance and inappropriate dialogues would not be spared and the person found guilty will be punished.
The home department of Punjab will introduce strict monitoring policy to exterminate obscenity.
According to sources, all the theaters in Punjab will face one year ban in case of deviation from the newly introduced policy.
According to the home department, “the local theaters would remove all sorts of immoral content”.

A representative committee will be formed for theaters from three important organizations and district administrations of Punjab.
According to sources, producers would be fined to pay Rs 50,000 to Rs 500,000 for producing inappropriate content.
