Punjab govt. announces reopening of schools in phases from Sep. 15
The government of Punjab on Monday announced the reopening of schools throughout the province in phases from September 15.
The Education Minister of Punjab Murad Rass in a statement said that the schools will be reopened in phases. He said that schools for students of 9 and 10 will reopen on September 15. While classes for six and eight will start from September 22.
“While schools for nursery to class 5 students will start from September 30, Rass announced. “No double shift. All public and private schools to allow only 50% of students in one day. Alternative days will have the other 50% of students,” Rass announced in a tweet.
