Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri tests positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday.
The deputy speaker shared the latest update about his health in a tweet sharing that his COVID-19 test report turned out to be positive.
The speaker in a tweet shared that he was suffering from a mild fever, along with a headache, for the last two or three days.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri requested people to pray for him and also urged the masses to take the third wave of the pandemic seriously.
“Make sure your elders get the coronavirus vaccine,” he added in his tweet.

As per the updates shared on the official page of the National Assembly, Qasim Suri had attended a gathering related to the celebration of International Women’s Day.
On Wednesday, Pakistan reported 43 more coronavirus-related deaths and 1,786 new positive cases from all across the country.
While the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) has issued fresh guidelines following a surge in the COVID-19 cases across the country.
The number of Covid-19 cases has surged by around 50 percent ever since the NCOC eased restrictions late last month.
