PM Imran Khan seemed to have another blip on twitter, as his fact checking team went missing. The former cricketer turned politician posted the following quote about life of contentment.
“I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is joy”.
Only problem was the quote was attributed to Lebanese writer and poet Khalil Jibran, when in fact famous Indian poet and Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore was one who actually said these lines.
“Mark my words, Imran Khan will succeed”, says Ramiz Raja appearing on Rewind with Samina Peerzada
The quote was captioned “those who discover and get to understand the wisdom of Gibran’s words, cited below, get to live a life of contentment.”
As expected twitterati had their fun at the PM’s expense.
We can surely imagine, the PM saying ‘Quote quote hota hai, Rabindernath Tagore’s ka ho ya Khalil Jibran ka’.
