The heavy rain on Thursday in the metropolis disrupted the flight’s operation at Karachi Airport after which the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued an alert.

The CAA has cautioned all aviation companies not to operate small aircraft saying these face difficulties during rain.

The CAA also directed to attach weight to the wings of small aircraft while parking during wet and windy weather.

As reported, the PIA flight PK-310 from Karachi to Quetta is facing a delay due to bad weather.

It was rescheduled to take off at 2:50 pm.

Meanwhile, Serene Air’s flight ER-502 from Karachi to Islamabad will now leave at 7:00 pm.

“AirBlue flight PA-402 from Karachi to Lahore will now depart at 8:00 pm tonight,” the airport sources said.
