Took a video of the rain for my sweet mom who’s in the hospital after having a knee replacement. Broke my heart that she wasn’t able to catch this brief shower considering one of her top prayers is that it will rain in Karachi. Hope it does again when she’s out in a few days. 🙏🏽 pic.twitter.com/gmL1DhH2uK

Even the rain in Karachi is elitist. While folks in Cliffence are celebrating today’s downpour, those of us living on the wrong side of the bridge are still waiting for a drop or two. Traffic jam mein phans gayi kya baarish? Sazish! Mazloom awam ko deewar se lagaya jaa raha hai!

Rain and cold breeze in Karachi both are a universal joke.
