Reema Khan joins Depilex Smile Again Foundation as goodwill ambassador
Depilex Smile Again Foundation (DSF) has taken on-board, the multi talented, diva who ruled our hearts and the film industry for decades, the veteran film star Reema Khan. Khan is now, DSF’s goodwill ambassador to support the patients and acid attack victims.
Reema Khan will now be working for a noble cause endorsing the work of Masarrat Misbah to empower women who have gone through the trauma of an acid attack and require reconstructive surgery, psycho-social support and skills training to help them become self-sufficient members of society. Reema’s main aim will be to spread knowledge about the horrific crime and also to raise awareness for the need of a stronger legislation specific for this issue in the society.
The Depilex Smile Again Foundation (DSF) was found in the year 2003 to support women subjected to domestic violence, particularly in the area of deliberate acid attacks and kerosene burning. The foundation supports a number of registered acid burnt victims who require assistance and deserve support.
