The biggest defence exhibition of the year 2018 in Pakistan, IDEAS is all set to showcase the newest inventions of Pakistan’s Defence industry. The exhibition will commence from November 27th at the Expo Centre in Karachi. Five hundred and twenty exhibitors from fifty countries including Pakistan will showcase their defence products in the exhibition held in Karachi.
A strict security schedule has been planned for the city and over 300 traffic policemen will be deployed around the exhibition venue.
The traffic police in Karachi have issued a traffic plan for the 10th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2018 starting in Karachi on November 27.
Routes:
University Road will remain open for traffic all four days of the exhibition.
No movement allowed from Hassan Square to National Stadium from 7 am on November 27.
Roads from Dalmia to Karsaz and New Town will stay open
Hassan Square Flyover will be closed.
Traffic coming from Liaquatabad will have a diversion towards University Road.
People are advised to use Shahra-e-Pakistan, Shahra-e-Faisal, Rashid Minhas Road and Shaheed-e-Millat for easy commute.
Heavy traffic is restricted from Nipa to Millennium Mall and Karsaz to Hassan Square.
They will be allowed to travel alternative routes from Liaquatabad no.10, Nipa Chowrangi, Millenium and Karsaz.
Parking around the Expo Centre is banned for the event.
Residents of the area will only be allowed to enter by showing their original ID cards.
