Dr. Sania Nishtar, the special assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation, visited Ehsaas Emergency Cash Payment site disguised in burqa.
The effort was amid at keeping a check on the arrangements in terms of quality of services, transparency in payments.
Dr. Sania took to social media to share the latest update.
“Disguised in Burqa, I visited #EhsaasEmergencyCash payment site at Nurpur Shahan to monitor payments to category-3 beneficiaries that began today. It was intended to assess arrangements in terms of quality of services, transparency in payments & adherence to #COVID19 measures”, she wrote in a tweet, while posting a few photos from the other day.
Dr. Nishtar while inspecting the preparations made at the center, also spoke to the deserving women and men in attendance at the premises.
She also reviewed the precautionary measures being followed to prevent coronavirus including disinfecting centers, maintaining social distance, and sanitizing hands.
