Saudi Arabia Imposes 21-Days Curfew to Curtail Coronavirus Spread

With 19 new cases of COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, the kingdom now has 511 patients of the virus that continues to spread across the globe. In an effort to curtail further spread of Coronavirus, Saudi government has now imposed a 21-day curfew in the country starting from Monday.

In a decree issued by King Salman, public has been told to stay at home from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. local Saudi time. The curfew put in place for next three weeks is expected to bring down the spread of Coronavirus that has claimed 14,700 lives across the world but none so far in the kingdom fortunately.

So far 176 countries continue to combat the pandemic and over 339,250 people have contracted the disease worldwide.
