According to media reports, KSA has recommended Pfizer, Oxford, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson’s coronavirus vaccines for use.
On the other hand, most of the Pakistani citizens are being vaccinated with Chinese vaccines through the government’s vaccination program, i.e, Sinopharm, CanSino, and SinoVac. And as well as with Russian Sputnik V privately.
Reportedly, Saudi Arabia’s new conditions granting permission to foreign passengers with COVID-19 vaccination will take effect from May 20.
As per media reports, those who have not received the shots from the recommended vaccines will have to undergo a mandatory quarantine period in Saudi Arabia. While the cost of the quarantine will be paid by the passengers as well.
In March 2020, Saudi Arabia banned travel to and from the country in an effort to reduce the spread of coronavirus.
