Schools to remain closed on Tuesday in Sindh as downpour cause havoc in cities

All the educational institutes across Sindh will remain closed on July 30 due of heavy rain. 

According to the notification issued all schools, both public and private, will remain closed on Tuesday (July 30) across Sindh owing to heavy rainfall in different parts of the province.

As per a notification by Secretary of Education, Qazi Shahid Pervez, after multiple parts of Sindh received heavy rain and thunderstorm, a public holiday has been declared on Tuesday, July 30.

Furthermore, the exams of NED University Karachi scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed. The university administration said that the new date of the exams will be announced soon.

The Met department has forecast two more days of rain in these cities. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department this rain system entered Sindh from India’s Rajasthan.

Downpour cause havoc in cities including Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar and Mirpur Khas. Multiple areas lost power and several low lying areas were flooded.
