US Elections 2020: The second presidential debate will be held virtually
The second presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden will be held virtually, the announcement comes from the organizers on Thursday.
POTUS Trump’s recent COVID-19 positive testing led to speculation that the second round of debate scheduled to be held in Miami on October 15, might get canceled.
The event’s organisers in a Tweet said, “Virtual debate for Pres Trump and VP Biden according to Commission on Presidential Debates”.

Even after getting a recent COVID-19 diagnosis, Trump has said that he was going to take part in the debate, even if it were in person.
However, Democratic nominee Joe Biden said that he would only do so if scientists said it was safe.
