Senior journalist Tariq Mahmood passes away in Islamabad after suffering from COVID-19
Senior journalist Tariq Mahmood Malik passed away in Islamabad on Thursday.
He had tested positive for COVID-19 a month earlier. And according to his son, Tariq Mahmood’s last test for coronavirus came out negative.
He had been hospitalized for several days and was in critical condition.
Senior journalist Tariq Mahmood Malik, who covered foreign affairs, had been associated with ARY News, Neo TV, Samaa TV, Hum News. and various publications as well.
In a message on social media former spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Faisal expressed sorrow over the demise ofTariq Mehmood.
