Shahbaz Gill gets hit with eggs and ink at LHC

Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication was hit with eggs and ink at Lahore High Court on Monday.

As being reported, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers threw ink and eggs on Gill as he reached the court.

After the incident Police have increased the security around the Lahore high court and have arrested the PML-N workers involved in the attack.

The Lahore High Court has summoned Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill on a petition challenging a criminal case Islampura police registered on his complaint.

The court adjourned that the hearing till March 30 and excused the PM’s aide from an appearance in the next hearing.

Appearing before the court Dr. Gill in his message on Twitter said that he is appearing before the esteemed court in the Lahore High Court at 2 pm today.

After the incident, many prominent Pakistani’s took to social media to condemn the attack.

 

Reacting to the incident Shahbaz Gill said that he will not be intimidated by this as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) do politics not bullying.

“The opposition is in panic and resorting to unjustifiable tactics but he will not back down from his principled position no matter what. Tell Maryam Nawaz that I am not afraid of anyone,” he added.

“Journalist friends found out that the PML-N’s gangster group was preparing to attack me. I am Imran Khan’s soldier. I will come to court, I am not afraid of you. Believe in politics, not in bullying like you,” he added.
