Shaheed Major Adeel was Married to Widow of Another Army Martyr

Earlier last week on Friday an officer of Pakistan Army along with his soldier embraced martyrdom in Mohmand region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as terrorists planted IED exploded. The officer identified as Major Adeel Shahid was overseeing the Pak-Afghan border fencing in the region.

Major Adeel was a resident of Karachi and his funeral was attended by hundreds of people from his neighborhood. Later it came to the knowledge that the Shaheed major had left his widow and three daughters amongst the grieving.

Geo News reported that Major Adeel’s wife was previously married to another officer in the Pak Army who had sacrificed his life for the country a few years ago. Adeel, the coursemate of the deceased, had married the widow to support her and her newborn daughter.

The Shaheed has now left his 1.5-year-old twin daughters along with his adopted girl.
