Shahid Khaqan Abbasi resigns from PML-N’s senior vice presidency

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi PML-N’s senior leader and former prime minister has resigned from his party’s key post.

As reported, PMLN Senior Vice President (SVP) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has resigned from the party office and decided to continue to work for the country’s wellbeing through the forum of Reimagining Pakistan.

However, according to the sources, the PML-N president and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has not accepted the resignation as yet.

Sources claim that the development comes as Khaqan was not happy with the appointment of Maryam Nawaz Sharif as PML-N chief organizer.
