Shoaib Malik not part of 12-member squad announced for World Cup opener

Pakistan team management have decided to drop Shoaib Malik from tomorrow’s World Cup opener against West Indies. His place has gone to Asif Ali. Moreover, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Hasnain were the other two players left out.

It will be interesting to see who Pakistan drop from the 12. They could drop Imad Wasim in favour of Asif Ali or Haris Sohail could also sit out.
