Reopening of shrines and amusement parks in Sindh!
The government of Sindh has announced the reopening of shrines, amusement parks from Monday (28 June).
According to a notification issued on Sunday by the provincial home department, wearing masks has been made mandatory for the visitors at these places and the employees must be vaccinated against the Covid-19 in due course.
“Maximum capacity with covered distancing should be mentioned at the entrance of these places and no extra person should be allowed over the stated capacity,” the notification added.
As per the new SOPs announced, devotees will only be allowed to stay in the shrine for 10 minutes and the entry of people aged above 50, young children or those exhibiting symptoms of illness will be restricted.
Langars (free meals) will not be distributed, while other standard Covid-19 SOPs such as wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and stringent sanitation measures will also be followed.
