Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has tested positive for COVID-19.
The confirmation comes from his spokesperson on early Monday.
According to a statement issued by the chief minister’s office, CM Shah got tested for COVID-19 on Friday after catching a mild fever.
On the advice of his doctors, the minister has gone into isolation.
In the last 24 hours, Sindh has reported 942 new cases and nine more deaths due to coronavirus.
