Sindh confirms 50 new coronavirus cases, provincial tally reaches 76
The number of positive coronavirus cases in Sindh has risen to 76, as 50 new cases have been reported.
The cases were reported from Sukkur, where people arriving from Taftaan tested positive. Senator Murtaza Wahab shared the latest update in a tweet.
“More results have come in. So far 50 people who had arrived in Sukkur from Taftaan have tested positive, 25 at Karachi and 1 at Hyderabad. So the total patients have reached 76 in Sindh. Out of these 76 patients, 2 have recovered and the remaining 74 are being kept in isolation,” he said.

With the new positive cases, the national wide tally of positive coronavirus cases has reached 94 cases.
A day earlier, eighteen positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Sindh.
According to the Health and Population Welfare Department of Sindh said thirteen of the cases had been reported in Sukkur in all those returning via Taftan. All of the new cases had been put under quarantine.
So far, the number of coronavirus cases is highest in Karachi with 25 confirmed COVID-19 patients.
