The Sindh government has issued details of lockdown measures that will be taken in the province during the month of Ramazan.
In case of any violation of the SOPs, the relevant markets or shops would be sealed.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah chaired the meeting which decided the following:
Business activities will take place from Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm.
Grocery shops across Sindh will remain open from 8 am-5 pm.
Cooked food could be ordered and delivered from 5 pm to 10 pm during Ramazan while the delivery of food items will not be allowed in Sehri.
Furthermore, the lockdown in the province will continue after 5 pm.
Ehteram Ramazan Ordinance will be implemented.
An official notification in this regard will be issued by the home ministry about the above-decided standard operating procedures.
