Sindh Govt Declares Public Holiday on May 28 to Mark Youm-e-Takbeer
Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has also announced that it will remain closed on May 28, 2025.

The Sindh government has announced a public holiday across the province on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in observance of Youm-e-Takbeer.
According to the official notification issued by the Sindh government, all government and private institutions will remain closed on this day.
In line with the holiday, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has also announced that it will remain closed on May 28, 2025.
What is Youm-e-Takbeer?
Youm-e-Takbeer commemorates the historic day when Pakistan successfully conducted its first nuclear tests on May 28, 1998. This day is celebrated annually to honour the country’s nuclear achievements and to remember the efforts of scientists and leaders who made it possible.
