The Government of Sindh has relaxed COVID-19 restrictions in the province.
A notification from the Sindh Home Department has been issued in this regard on Tuesday.
Per the notification, the wedding venues will now be allowed to host 500 people for indoor events, while 1,000 individuals will be permitted to attend outdoor events.
Furthermore, only fully vaccinated individuals will be allowed to attend both indoor and outdoor events.
The home department also notified that the markets will remain open until 10 pm from now on, while shrines will also remain open.
The new relaxed rules will stay in place until November 30.
Sindh on Tuesday reported 39 new coronavirus cases and one death over the past 24 hours, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office.
The province’s infection tally now stands at 472,241 and the death toll at 7,605.
