The government of Sindh is increasing the capacity of quarantine centres due to the rise in coronavirus cases.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah told the provincial cabinet that the government is increasing the number of beds at quarantine centres as the number of coronavirus cases has risen exponentially in recent days.
According to CM Shah, the field hospital at Karachi Expo Centre will get 300 more beds to increase its capacity from 1,200 to 1,500.
The facility at PAF Museum will get 600 more beds, meanwhile, the quarantine centre at Gadap will get an additional 150 beds.
It is also been notified that a 120-bed centre is also being created at Dumba Goth Hospital.
Moreover, a 100-bed field isolation centre will be created in every district.
