Sindh government has given private schools permission to open their offices to collect fees and pay salaries amid the ongoing lockdown in the province, local media reported. Other activities, however, will remain suspended as per the notification issued on Thursday.
The permission has been granted to schools on some strict conditions, violating those will lead to cancellation of the school’s registration.
School administrations have been instructed to pay special attention to maintaining hygiene and social distancing to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
They have also been asked to make sanitizers and surgical masks available.
As per the notification, no more than three people can gather in an administration office, while no students are allowed in school premises.
The Sindh government on March 30 directed private schools across the province to pay full salaries to its teachers on time.
