Sindh reports 11 deaths, over 1,000 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

Sindh on Tuesday has reported 11 deaths and over 1,000 new COVID-19 cases. The daily number of reported positive cases in the province is rising constantly.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah in his daily briefing told that as many as 12,457 samples were tested during the past 24 hours out of which 1,049 came positive.
Among them, 720 patients are said to be in critical health, and 828 out of total cases or 79 percent belong to Karachi, he further added.
As shared by CM, the health ministry numbers showed 707 recoveries from the virus in the past 24 hours in the province.
Sindh’s death toll now stands at 3,634.
While the total tally of coronavirus infections in Sindh has surged to 220,501.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the Federal Cabinet has approved the procurement of the COVID -19 vaccine to protect human lives on a time and emergency basis.
