Sindh reports record number of coronavirus cases in 24 hours and 17 deaths.
According to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, the province has recorded 1,017 new COVID-19 cases.
This is so far the highest number of cases reported within 24 hours.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Sindh is now 18,964.
The province also recorded 17 deaths, taking the toll to 316.
About 127 patients are in critical condition, while 32 are on ventilators, says the chief minister.
The chief minister further added that 6,164 tests were conducted in the province over the past 24 hours.
