Sindh Suspends Physical Classes!!
The government of Sindh has announced the suspension of physical classes in all schools across the province till grade 8 for 15 days.
Announcing the decision, provincial dedication minister Saeed Ghani, in a tweet notified that the
“Sindh Education Department has decided to suspend Physical Classes in all public and private schools across the province for the next fortnight from Tuesday, April 6, for the next fortnight in view of the situation of Covid.”
“Online classes, homework, and other sources will be used to ensure students’ education remains on track,” he added.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood in a Tweet said: “Education and Health Ministers will meet at the NCOC Tuesday to decide whether to open or further close educational institutions.”
“The exam situation will also be discussed. Whatever is decided will be a collective decision of the country’s health and education authorities & NCOC,” he added.
The third wave of the coronavirus continues to intensify its grip across the country, because of that Sindh suspends physical classes.
Pakistan on Sunday has reported 5,020 fresh coronavirus cases and 81 deaths, while the positivity rate during the past 24 hours stood at 9.02 percent.
