In Sindh, 168 Tableeghi Jamaat marakiz are turned into quarantine centers.
As being reported, the Sindh Police along with district administrations have turned Tableeghi Jamaat centres across the province into quarantine centres where thousands of Tableeghi Jamaat members have been put into isolation to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
A total of 168 Jamaat marakiz have been declared quarantine centres where an estimated 4,107 people have been isolated, a police spokesperson said.
According to the spokesperson, the police are providing “decent meals” to the Tableeghi Jamaat members at these quarantine centres.
The number of coronavirus cases in Sindh has surged to 830.
