Sinead O’Connor, Irish singer, embraces Islam

Famed Irish singer Sinead O’Connor, best known hit version of Nothing Compares 2 U, has converted to Islam and changed her name to Shuhada, reported CNN.
The singer made the announcement via Twitter stating, “This is to announce that I am proud to have become a Muslim. This is the natural conclusion of any intelligent theologian’s journey. All scripture study leads to Islam. Which makes all other scriptures redundant.”
