Sorry Guys! This #BlackTwitter trend is not what you think
Its been a day or Two, hashtag #BlackTwitter has been trending on Top in Pakistan.
But sorry to say people without even realizing what was that all about, jumped into the bandwagon, thinking it was something just like the other trending hashtag that withdrew everyone’s attention on Twitter, the #BlueTwitter.
What this #BlackTwitter is all about? Actually it is a cultural identity consisting of Black Twitter users from the United States on the Twitter social network focused on issues of interest to the black community, particularly in the US.
People use it as a network of culturally connected communicators using the platform to draw attention to issues of concern to black communities. It is a complex thing being influential at the same time, and far more meaningful than the sum of its social justice-driven hashtags
However, in our part of the world, people took it as something related to cool black color-related things, it is not a hashtag to flaunt pictures in black dresses.
Here have a look what our folks have been up to with this #BlackTwitter trend:
To your parents you are still that innocent baby, and sometimes even you will need your mother's lap. Children and mothers never truly part. They're bound in the beating of each other's heart.#BlackTwitter pic.twitter.com/Pim0rjCkhC
