A suicide attacker blew himself up in a mosque located in Peshawar’s Police Lines area on Monday afternoon.
According to the initial reports, at least 50 people are injured and casualties are feared to rise.
As reported, the explosion took place at around 1:40 pm local time as Zuhr prayers were being offered at the mosque.
According to security officials, the suicide attacker was standing in the front row during the prayers when he exploded himself.
The spokesperson of the Lady Reading Hospital (LRC), Mohammad Asim told the media that the injured persons are being moved to the medical facility.
