Tabish Gauhar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Power, Resigns
Tabish Gauhar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Power has tendered resignation from his post on Thursday.
According to news source, he has sent in his resignation via WhatsApp last night.
Reportedly, Gauhar was unhappy over unnecessary interference in the power ministry.
The sources quote Gauhar for adopting a very tough stance on the Independent Power Producers (IPPs) negotiation with the government
Tabish Gauhar had served as the chairman and CEO for K-Electric for seven years.
In 2015, he stepped down as director, chief executive officer and chairman of KE’s board.
As per K-Electric’s website, under his leadership, the company made significant progress in key operational and financial indicators and generated a profit for the first time in 17 years in 2012.
