Tere Bin Episode-27 and 28 Review: Meerub is testing Murtasim’s as well as our patience

Has Murtasim really shot himself?

7th Sky Entertainment production drama serial Tere Bin is 28 episodes down and we really don’t like the way this story is heading. I guess we all have given up on Meerub but Murtasim has not yet. But he is facing a sort of betrayal. In the previous episodes, we watched Murtasim shielding Meerub at every step. In the latest episodes, Meerub is literally making no sense at all. Such a badly written character!

Meerub slips down the stairs because Haya has oiled the stairs. Maa Begum rushes her to the hospital where Doctor tells her that it is a police case as someone has attempted to harm her. Maa Begum who till then was so oblivion of Haya’s mischievousness and giving her ample space despite her obvious jealousy and hatred for Meerub, suddenly a bell rings in her mind that Haya is behind all this she is her enemy and wants to kill her grandchild.

Well on her way to punishing Haya, Feena also busted her secret of practising black magic. Haya is speechless she cannot defend herself. Oh, What a relief for the audience! Why Maa Begum has sent her to their village Haweli why not she has banished her completely by sending her to her paternal family? Well, that injury also reveals Meerub’s fake pregnancy. The way Murtasim stands with Meerub once again won our hearts. He manages to spare Meerub from his mother’s wrath. Maa Begum offers him to leave Meerub as she is not giving him his rights as a husband on which he confesses that he cannot leave her because he truly and deeply loves Meerub.

It seems true that the writer has invested all her energies in crafting Murstasim’s character so well that she actually gets exhausted while penning down Meerub’s. Such a poorly written character her actions in relation to her developed character does not make any sense at all. A headstrong girl like Meerub how can she be so feeble that a lunatic guy actually forcefully takes her to his own house, to his room?

Meerub has truly disappointed not just Murtasim but us all! Why Meerub why? at a moment she feels moved and enamoured, at another instant her rebellious self is back. Murstasim’s anger and his passion are so artfully carried by Wahaj Ali, how he still tries to save Meerub’s respect in eyes of her parents and still Meerub so hardhearted! Why does Meerub even pay heed to Rohail’s madness? By the way, Rohail bleeds blue which looks so weird. Maybe that’s because of some new censor policy that can’t show blood on screen? it takes away the impact of the scene. Muratsim feels betrayed and he has a fear of losing Meerub in that turmoil we hear a gunshot what is that? Has Murtasim tried to take his own life? No Murtasim no! Meerub is not worth it.
