Dwayne Johnson starrer Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw opened in North America on Friday with a solid $22.5 million.
Not just that film has also received a massive response after being released in Pakistan.
On its opening, Fast & Furious spin-off raked in PKR 32.2 million, making it the third biggest ever opening for an English film in Pakistan.
Pleased with the development, Dwayne Johnson took to twitter thanking Pakistan for giving such a huge response towards Hobbs and Shaw release.
Dwayne Johnson replied to Entertainment PK’s article on the opening day business of the film Hobbs and Shaw in Pakistan. The Rock wrote, “Wow – this is huge / thank you Pakistan for the love and enjoy”.
According to the box-office report, Hobbs and Shaw have registered the second-biggest opening day of 2019 beating Pakistani films Wrong No. 2 and Chhalawa by huge margins.
As being reported, the opening day numbers for Hobbs & Shaw are the third biggest of all time for English films after Avengers: Endgame and Fast 8.
