Wrestling legend and WWE superstar The Undertaker has announced his retirement from World Wrestling Entertainment.
The 55-year-old veteran wrestler, whose real name is is Mark Calaway had announced in the last episode of the WWE docuseries The Last Ride about his decision to leave the ring for good.
The Undertaker’s last match was against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36.

“You can never appreciate how long the road was until you’ve driven to the end. #TheLastRide,” he posted on Twitter.
In a series of tweets, WWE quoted his farewell message: “I did things my way, and I’m gonna leave my way. If there was ever a perfect ending to a career, that right there is it. I felt much better than I thought I was going to. I felt like my stride was long, felt pretty natural.”
The Undertaker holds many records within the WWE. A seven-time world champion, he won the WWF/E championship four times and the world heavyweight championship three times.
He is also a six-time tag team champion, winning once with Stone Cold Steve Austin, twice with The Big Show, once with The Rock and twice with Kane.
Furthermore, he is the winner of the 2007 Royal Rumble. That describes why he is considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and he became a cultural icon around the world.
