Three coal miners shot dead in Harnai, Balochistan it emerges on Sunday.

Deputy Commissioner Harnai Suhail Anwar Hashmi confirming the incident said that the three workers were working in a coal mine in the Shahrag Zalawan area in Harnai. It was where unidentified armed men shot dead three coal mine workers.

“Levies and Counter-Terrorism Department teams have been dispatched to the crime scene to shift the bodies to hospital,” he said.

According to the Levies sources, some unidentified persons started firing in the Zalawan area of Shahrag, Harnai.

The sources informed that the miners were working in the coalmine of Amanullah Taran.

The slain workers have not been identified yet.

However, the bodies of the deceased have been shifted to a local hospital.

Following the incident, Levies personnel cordoned off the area and started searching for the culprits.
