TikToker Ayesha Akram was presented before the Sessions Court in Lahore

TikToker Ayesha Akram will not pursue the Minar-e-Pakistan assault case any further, it emerges on Monday.

The development comes as the TikTok star was presented before the the Sessions Court in Lahore.

Ayesha Akram filed a statement in In the Minar-e-Pakistan sexual assault case, stating that she will not pursue the case any further.

TikToker Ayesha Akram stated that she has forgiven all the accused, and has no objection to the accused being exonerated.

The court has summoned the lawyers to present their arguments on August 26.

Meanwhile, Amir Sohail, also known as Rambo, and 11 other accused in the case have filed petitions seeking acquittal in the case.

Minar e Pakistan assault case sent shock waves across the nation when video clips showing the incident went viral on social media in August 2021.

The viral videos showed a group of men attacking a girl, identified as the TikToker Ayesha Akram, tore off her clothes, and tossed her in the air, in broad daylight at Lahore’s Greater Iqbal Park.

Ayesha Akram had gone to Greater Iqbal Park on Independence Day along with friends to make TikTok videos.

Following the viral videos, the Larri Adda police station registered a case against more than 400 people for assaulting and stripping the woman, and also arrested several individuals.

However, Minar-e-Pakistan incident inquiry took a new turn as TikToker Ayesha Akram named her partner Rambo for blackmailing her over the incident.
